In Stratford-upon-Avon town, there are many quality restaurants, public houses and gastro pubs with excellent reputations all within walking distance. The area is well served by schools including The Croft Prep School, King Edward Grammar School for Boys, Shottery Grammar School for Girls and Stratford High School. Stratford upon Avon has many leisure opportunities with boating, fishing and rowing together with its links to the canal network.

The town also has a golf course and racecourse and there are other racecourses further afield at Warwick and Cheltenham. For the commuter, the M40 is easily accessible and there are regular trains from Warwick Parkway and Stratford-upon-Avon to both Birmingham and London – each can be reached in an hour, and 90 minutes respectively.

Other urbanised areas we cater to, include Leamington Spa and its beautiful Regency style buildings, and Warwick, the county town of Warwickshire, a historic market town situated on a bend of the River Avon. Both provide convenient shopping options, trendy restaurants and wine bars, as well as other recreational pursuits.

Like Stratford-upon-Avon, both are well served by a variety of decent state, private and grammar options including Warwick Foundation Schools.

During the pandemic, we have seen buyers from all over the country moving to the area to be closer to families and the great communication links we have in Warwickshire are a real draw for those who are looking to commute to larger cities. When it comes to shopping, Stratford-upon-Avon offers a great selection of independent boutiques and high street names, with plenty of hidden gems tucked away down many of its historic side streets, intertwined with stunning Elizabethan architecture.

For dining out, gastropubs are aplenty, as are popular high-end restaurants such as Loxleys and Sorrento. And for the budding thespians in the family, Head to The Dirty Duck by the river – a regular haunt for RSC actors throughout the week.

Stratford upon Avon is well-connected to major cities, thanks to its useful central UK location, with Junction 15 of the M40 just six miles from the town. Birmingham is just under an hour away by car, while London Marylebone can be reached in around 90 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon station, or nearby Leamington Spa or Warwick stations.
